Apologies for all the Hyde Park on Hudson vids from the TIFF 2012, but I think this one stands out because of the last question. :D

Bringing Eleanor Roosevelt to life
New York Times Syndicate (via the Qatar Tribune)
by Ian Spelling

IT wasn’t easy for Olivia Williams to become Eleanor Roosevelt.Reports says that the British actress “begged” for the chance to play Roosevelt in Hyde Park on Hudson, Roger Michell’s new drama about a famous 1939 visit in which Roosevelt and her husband, President Franklin Delano Roosevelt (Bill Murray), entertained the King and Queen of England (Samuel West and Olivia Colman) at their estate in Hyde Park on Hudson, in upstate New York.

I'm going to put up all sorts of epilepsy warnings for this Q&A. How bad is the shaky-camera effect of this video? Very.

It's twenty minutes long. I think OW answers a question around 11 minutes in (she answers after Aaron Taylor Johnson and before Matthew MacFadyen)

Then we have the red carpet for 'Hyde Park on Hudson'--

Rhashan Stone (Olivia's husband)'s Facebook news page basically confirmed that Olivia took the role of Eleanor Roosevelt in the movie, Hyde Park On Hudson, and that they start shooting this summer (in your part of the world, anyway :D).

Say thank you to him by becoming a fan of his page.

Another one of her movies, Collaborator (the movie has been on IMDB ever since the end of Dollhouse S1) will have a world premiere at the Karlovy Vary Film Festival. here is the poster. And here is the plot, care of wikipedia--

Martin Donovan stars in the film, portraying a once-successful playwright, Robert Longfellow, who is taken hostage by an [ex-con] neighbor while on a routine visit to his childhood home. Two-time Emmy-nominee David Morse plays Gus (the neighbor); a man Robert has avoided since he was a boy. The film also stars Olivia Williams; Katherine Helmond and Eileen Ryan play supporting roles. As the drama unfolds, social status, celebrity and the threat of violence converge, leaving the playwright simultaneously shattered and inspired.

Olivia Williams has emerged as the front runner to play Eleanor Roosevelt the Roger Michell-directed Hyde Park on the Hudson for Focus Features. She is in talks to join her Rushmore co-star Bill Murray, who plays Franklin Delano Roosevelt, and Laura Linney, who’ll play FDR’s distant cousin and mistress. The Richard Nelson-scripted film is about a visit by King George VI to Hyde Park, the upstate New York home of the Roosevelt family in 1939. While the stakes are high—momentum was building toward WWII—the trip also happened as FDR’s wife discovered his affair with his cousin.
