New ITV1 thriller Case Sensitive kicks off on Monday night at 9pm. An adaptation of Sophie Hannah's third novel to feature her characters DS Charlie Zailer and DC Simon Waterhouse, this two-part drama stars Olivia Williams and Darren Boyd as the crime-solving duo. We had a chat recently with former Dollhouse star Olivia to talk about her new role, partying with the police and what it's really like to work in US television!

She talks a bit about Case Sensitive (no spoilers), working in the UK and America. A variation of the past few articles posted in the community )

Olivia Williams (The Sixth Sense, Dollhouse) stars as DS Charlie Zailer in ITV1's new two-part drama, Case Sensitive, based on the psychological suspense novel Point Of Rescue by Sophie Hannah.

When Geraldine Bretherick and her 5-year-old daughter Lucy are found dead in the bath of their luxury home, the case divides new DS Charlie Zailer and her DC Simon Waterhouse. Is it murder, suicide or something even more sinister, and how watertight is the alibi of the husband Mark?

CultBox caught up with Olivia to find out more...

Aside from Case Sensitive, there's talk about Hanna, In A Forest, Lost and Dollhouse. Also, my question was asked. And answered. )

From Morse and Lewis to Dalziel and Pascoe, TV detectives often work best in pairs, despite frequently being like chalk and cheese.

This week, Zailer and Waterhouse join the ranks of the crime-fighting duos in the new crime drama Case Sensitive.

The two-part series, which is screening over consecutive nights (ITV1, Monday 2 May and Tuesday 3 May), stars Olivia Williams as sensitive DS Charlie Zailer, who has been transferred from the Met to a force in the Home Counties, where she joins up with Darren Boyd’s socially inept but brilliant DC Simon Waterhouse.
